Funeral Services for Mrs. Marilyn Norris will be held at 11:00am on Monday July 1, 2024, at the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Norris, age 77, passed away from this life on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in Sumrall. Brother Hebert Wiggers and Brother Willie Jones will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Davis, Donnie Norris, Shane Saulters, Bejay Norris, Stephen Harrell, and David Webber.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Marilyn Lynn Norris was born on September 11, 1946, in Collins, to Lyman Higgins and Wilma Lucille McRaney. Mrs. Norris retired from Ellisville State School and was a member of True Vision Baptist Church in Sumrall.

Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, Clyde Norris, her brother, Julian McRaney, her sister, Gail Barnett, her daughter, Gina Fagan.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin Ard; children, Teresa Jinks & Jamey Norris; her sister, Karen Allen, her grandchildren, Shayne Bradburn, LeAnne Matheny, Stephen Harrell, Jessica Fagan, Cody Norris, and Levi Lott; and a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

A visitation for Mrs. Marilyn Norris will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Wade Funeral Home.
