Marjean C. Thompson

Graveside services for Mrs. Marjean Thompson will be held at 10:00am Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Thompson Family Cemetery at 356 Smyrna Road in Seminary, MS. Mrs. Thompson, 69, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, at her residence in Seminary. Reverend Gary Bridges will officiate and interment will be in the Thompson Family Cemetery in Seminary, MS.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be James Jerrell, James Jerrell Jr., B.J. Norris, Jonathan Thompson, Josh Breazeale, Joey Runnells. Honorary pallbearer will be Eddie Sadowski.

Marjean C. Thompson was born January 4, 1949 in Seminary, MS to T.J. Carter and Marjorie Graves Carter. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker, and she was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; and Doug Thompson, her husband of 43 years.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by 2 sons, Darrell Thompson of Mount Olive, and David Thompson of Seminary; 1 grandchild, Nicky Thompson; 2 great grandchildren; 6 sister, Virginia Herrin of Collins, Ann Lowery of Seminary, Betty Graves of Seminary, Carolyn Norris of Bassfield, Rita Breazeale of Seminary, and Theresa Norris of Bassfield; and 1 brother, Thomas Carter of Seminary; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, from 6:00pm until at the family home at 356 Smyrna Road in Seminary, MS.
