Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Melba W. Vaughn will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 16, 2018 in the Union North Baptist Church Cemetery in Hot Coffee. Mrs. Vaughn passed away from this life on Sunday, November 11, 2018 in Hattiesburg.  Reverend Jerry McRaney will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Chase Vaughn, Tim Ellzey, Joshua Ellzey, and Jacob Ellzey.

Melba Louise Ward Vaugh was born on August 4, 1924 in Oviedo, FL to William Allen Ward and Carrie Ward. She was a homemaker and a member of Union North Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Maj. Aubrey Ross Vaughn; 2 sons, Jerry Vaughn and Tommy Vaughn; and a grandson, Aubrey Jason Vaughn.

Survivors include 2 sons, Richard Vaughn (Kay) of Hattiesburg and Dalton Vaughn (Desserae) of Magee; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
