Funeral Services for Mr. Monroe Pegram will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 12, 2025, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Pegram, age 67, passed away from this life on Saturday, January 4, 2025, in Pensacola, FL. Brother Wesley Kirkley will officiate and interment will follow in the Ora Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Craig Miller, Brian Sparrow, Bryan Russell, Scott Pegram, Alan Shoemaker, and David Crawford.

Monroe Calvin Pegram, Jr. was born on May 24, 1957, in Vicksburg, to Monroe Calvin Pegram, Sr. and Martha Faye Travis Pegram. Mr. Pegram was the Assistant Maintenance Superintendent for the Mississippi Department of Transportation District 7 Office. He was also a meat cutter in the meat market for over 35 years. Mr. Pegram was member and deacon at the Dwelling Place Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Faye Pegram.

Survivors include his father, Calvin Pegram of Collins; his brother, Milton (Marla) Pegram of Collins; 2 children, Clay Pegram and Stephanie Pegram; 2 daughters, Amanda (Clayton) Williams of Collins, and Brandy (Jonathan) Easterling of Seminary; 3 grandchildren, Walker Easterling, Baylee Williams, and Wyatt Williams; and 1 nephew, Scott (Casey) Pegram of Collins; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
