Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle B. Harrison will be held at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Lone Star Cemetery. Mrs. Harrison was 89 years of age and passed away from this life on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at her residence in Lone Star. Brother Danny Forrest, Sr. will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Junior Miller, Jerry Miller, Michael Miller, Jr, Fisher Miller, Jake Miller, and Charles Coulter. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Darren Gilmore and James Speck.

Myrtle Esther Brown Harrison was born on August 22, 1931, in Moselle to Sam and Jennie Williams Brown. Mrs. Harrison was a longtime seamstress for the Edward Hynum Company in Prentiss. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Lone Star Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband of 46 years, N.H. Harrison; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include her 3 sons, William Burl Harrison, Stephen Harrison (Michele), and Jason Bradley Harrison, all of Collins; 7 grandchildren, Rebecca Harrison, Meagan Harrison, Chance Harrison, James Speck, Mitchell Harrison, Ashley Harrison, and Sarah Harrison; as well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:30 pm until 7 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
