Private family graveside funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Hughes Cross will be held at Mt. Horeb Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Cross, age 56, passed away from this life on Monday, May 31, 2021, in Purvis. The Reverend Jim Roberson and the Reverend Brooks Porter will officiate.

Nancy Elizabeth Hughes Cross was born on February 9, 1965, in Winnsboro, LA, to Bobby Dean Hughes and Nancy Louise Hughes. She was formerly employed by Forrest General Hospital and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors are her husband of 32 years, Bill Cross of Purvis; 2 sons, Daniel Hughes of Hattiesburg, and J.C. Cross (Brittany) of Petal; 2 sisters, Louise Clark (Darrell) of Hiram, GA, and Dorothy Sullivan of Hattiesburg; 2 brothers, David Hughes of Birmingham, AL, and Joey Sullivan of Hattiesburg; as well as a number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, June 4, 2021, from 5:30 pm until 7 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
