Graveside services for Mrs. Nell Dickens will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Ora Cemetery.  Mrs. Dickens, age 77, passed away from this life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in Hattiesburg. Bro. Gary Bridges and Bro. Reese Douglas, Jr. will officiate.

Pallbearers were Donald Neal, Trey Smith, Arthur Graham, Milton Pegram, Terry Jackson, Jake King, B.J. Sellers, and Roy Beckham.

Honorary Pallbearer was Bobby Sellers.

Nelda Dickens was born on April 19, 1945, in Taylorsville to Hilton McCollum and Ethel Yelverton McCollum. Mrs. Dickens was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Billy Ralph Dickens; 2 brothers, Paul McCollum and Cecil McCollum; and 1 sister, Grace Neal.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Tina Dickens of Collins, Angela Dickens of Collins, Tawanna West (Clayton) of Collins, and Melissa Albarran (Rigo) of Rochelle, IL; 4 grandchildren, Shelby Morgan Graham, George Mason Graham, Amanda Ainsworth (Michael), and Angel Daniels; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
