Funeral services for Ms. Nellie Hayes Kitchens will be at 2:00pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Kitchens, age 79, passed away from this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her residence in Ellisville. Reverend Steve Wade will officiate and interment will follow in the Collins City Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Nellie Jane Hayes Kitchens was born January 15, 1946, in Dexter, MO, to Jessie L. "Bud" Hayes and Mildred R. "Carrie" Rogers Hayes. Ms. Hayes was a homemaker and loved everyone in her family.

She was preceeded in death by her mother and father; a daughter, Mary Mooney; a grandson, William Brown; 4 sisters, Minnie Bourg, Ida Martin, Margie Borne, and Mildred Cheramie; and 2 brothers, Thomas Hayes and Larry Hayes.

Survivors include 2 sons, George Kitchens (Melissa) of Ellisville and Ray Kitchens (Mary) of Laurel; 4 daughters, Nellie Kitchens and Pamela West, both of Ellisville, Ruby Loveless (Jerrett) of Picayune, and Jessica Walkingstick (Danny) of Tenneessee; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Judy Naguin (Royce) of Cutoff, LA; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
