Patricia T. Thrash

Funeral Services for Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Thrash will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Longview Baptist Church. Mrs. Thrash was 72 years of age and passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in Collins. Brother Wayne Woolwine will officiate and Don and Kaye McQueen and Jimmy and Larry Davis will provide the musical service. Interment will be in the Longview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be David Wade, Josh Goldman, Allan Abbey, Jimmy Dale Taylor, Matthew Hutchison, and Mark Hutchison. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Glen Allan Taylor, Opie Taylor, Charlie Goldman, Cass Taylor, Michael J. "Tiny" Thrash, Kevin Thrash, and Al Taylor.

Patricia Taylor Thrash was born in Laurel on October 27, 1943, to Ira M. Taylor and Ruby Hanna Taylor. Mrs. Thrash was bookkeeper and manager in the trucking business and was a member of Longview Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; 3 brothers, O'Neil Taylor, Albert Taylor, and R.G. Taylor and a sister, Sarah Lowery.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Leon Thrash of Collins; 2 daughters, Glenda White and Sabrina Pippen, both of Collins; 1 sister, Helen Knight of Soso; and 3 grandchildren, Tyler Crosby, McKenna Pippen, and Rylee Pippen; as well a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Longview Baptist Church.
