A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Peter Michael "Pete" Hamilton will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Hamilton, age 75, passed away from this life on Sunday, January 25, 2026, in Seminary. Reverend Steve Wade will officiate and inurnment will be in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery.

Peter Michael Hamilton was born on August 7, 1950, in Philadelphia, PA, to John Peter Hamilton and Elizabeth Rich Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton worked for E and B Discount Grocery Store for 18 years and was in the lawn maintenance business for many years. He attended New Chapel Pentecostal Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 2 sisters, Dolores Marie Gambale and Carrie Corine Aultman; 6 brothers, John Peter Hamilton, Jr, Lewis Thomas Hamilton, Leroy Roger Hamilton, Robert Henry Hamilton, and William James Hamilton.

Survivors include his longtime girlfriend, Amanda Kitchens of Collins, and her children, Ashley Stewart and Richard Stewart, both of Mendenhall; 2 sisters, Elizabeth (Victor) Marchese of Norristown, PA, and Julie (Mike) Elkins of Petal; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Wade Funeral Home..
