Funeral Services for Mrs. Retha P. Williams will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams, age 75, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence in Seminary. Reverend Dr. Barry Armstrong, Reverend Jeff Easterling, Reverend Joe Lott, and Mr. Randy Easterling will officiate and interment will be in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Austin Williams, Taylor Williams, Ray Williams, Randy Loper, Tyler Norman, and Bud Loper. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ike Sanford, Noah Sanford, Alton Folkes, Billy R. Folkes, John Folkes, John Woolwine, Richard Woolwine, Terry Loftis, Harlon Aultman, Ben Norman, Rufus Trigg, and Trinity Williams.

Retha Pace Williams was born February 28, 1944 in Conehatta, MS to C.A. Pace and Norma Sansing Pace. She was a Pastor's Wife and Faithful Servant of The Lord. Mrs. Williams and her late Husband, Rev. Lamar Williams were in the Ministry for over 37 years. Mrs. Retha was known as the "Cross Lady" for her love of giving small metal crosses to everyone she met and that small act of love has, no doubt, touched many lives. Mrs. Williams was a member of Union Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband of over 56 years, Reverend Lamar Williams; 2 sisters, Rosie Roebuck and Sharlene Fulchur; and 1 brother, Monty Pace.

Mrs. Williams is survived 2 daughters, Beverly Loper and her husband Randy of Rose Hill, and Susan Rawls of Seminary; 1 son, Ron Williams and his wife Janis of Purvis; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:30pm until 8:00pm at Wade Funeral Home and Wednesday morning from 10:00am until 11:00am at Union Baptist Church.
