Richard Bush

Funeral Services for Richard Bush will be held at 3:00pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Lowery Creek Baptist Church. Mr. Bush passed away from this life on Monday, September 18, 2017 in Collins. Reverend Kevin Sanford, Reverend Eddie McKenzie, and Reverend Paul Rogers will officiate and interment will be in the Walters Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be James Morgan, Adam McKenzie, Ricky Drew, Alex Kitchens, Derick McCain, and Jay Shoemake. Jason Boleware and Ronnie Kitchens will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Richard Sherman Bush was born February 1, 1936 in Jones County to William Clyde Bush and Ruthie Mae Walters. Mr. Bush was a retired farmer and a member of Lowery Creek Baptist Church.

Richard Bush was preceded in death by his mother and father, and a brother, Billy Bush.

Mr. Bush is survived by his wife of 62 years, Viola Bush of Seminary; 5 daughters, Patricia Morgan (Everett) of Seminary, Rebecca McKenzie (Aubrey) of Collins, Katherine Bush of Laurel, Janice Drew (Richard) of Ellisville, and Brenda Boggs (Herbert) of Seminary; 3 sons, Richard Bush of Laurel, Greg Bush of Seminary, and Jimmy Bush of Seminary; 1 adopted granddaughter, Loretta Kitchens (Ronnie) of Seminary; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Jack Bush (Bonnie) of Seminary, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 4:30pm until 9:00pm at Wade Funeral Home and Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm at Lowery Creek Baptist Church.
