Funeral services for Ricky Lynn Dunaway, Jr., will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Turnage Chapel Methodist Church in Foxworth. Mr. Dunaway, age 46, passed away from this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in Laurel. Reverend Dr. Ronnie Morgan will officiate and interment will be in the Dunaway Cemetery.

Ricky Lynn Dunaway was born on May 22, 1978, in Jackson, to Ricky Lynn Dunaway, Sr. and Vickie Louise Lambert Dunaway. Mr. Dunaway was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he was a combat medic. He was a carpenter and a member of Ignite Church in Laurel.

Mr. Dunaway was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Beth Dunaway of Laurel; 6 children; 5 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Johnithan Dunaway of Laurel and Jeremy Morgan of Monticello; 4 step-brothers; and 4 step-sisters; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
