Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Sanford will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Willow Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Sanford passed away from this life on Thursday, February 6, 2020 near Seminary. Reverend Rocky Holston will officiate, and interment will follow in the Willow Grove Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Holder, Steve Jordan, Justin Jones, Mike Leggett, Jason Hemeter, and John Hemeter.

Charles Richard "Ricky" Sanford was born on July 5, 1950 in Collins to Charlie Sanford and Blanche Lee Sanford. Mr. Sanford retired as an operator for the Willow Grove Water Association in August. He spent most of his career as an Agricultural Manager. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Sanford was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his son, Josh Sanford.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Doris Hanberry of Oak Grove; his daughter, Laci Sanford of Seminary; 1 granddaughter, Maci JoAnna Leggett of Seminary; and 1 sister, Jackie Bullock (Kelton) of Seminary; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Willow Grove Baptist Church.
