Graveside Funeral Rites for Mr. Bob Hammerman will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Hammerman, age 101, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Louisiana. Reverend Steve Wade will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Robert Edward Hammerman was born on September 14, 1923, in Erie, PA, to Albert and Nina Mae Pond Hammerman. Mr. Hammerman was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from General Electric as an electronic engineer. Mr. Hammerman was well known for his skills in repairing clocks, watches, as well as most anything electronic. He and his wife Gwen enjoyed square dancing. Mr. Hammerman was a member on Rock Hill Baptist Church.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father; his wife of 75 years, Gwen Hammerman; daughter, Frances Pelletier; and a brother, Chet Hammerman.

Survivors include 6 grandchildren, Johnny Hodge, Sheila Robbins; Stephanie Carter, Stacy Gutierraz, James Pelletier, and Rick VanNorman; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
