Robert Ervin Smith, Jr.

Graveside funeral services for Bobby Smith will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Walters Cemetery. Mr. Smith, age 59, passed away from this life on Monday, June 3, 2019 at his residence near Seminary. Reverend Jonathan Bryant will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Randy Butler, Shane Odom, Buck Jones, Zack Lott, Tyler Smith, and Michael Craft. Felix McCullum will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.

Robert Ervin Smith, Jr. was born on May 31, 1960 in Hattiesburg to Robert Ervin Smith, Sr. and Sue Rushton Smith. He was a retired truck driver and tied steel in the construction business.  Mr. Smith was a member of Rawl Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his mother and father; and his wife, Lavetta Ann Riles Smith.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Erin Lindsey Lott (Zack) of Sumrall; 2 sons, Robert Zachary Smith of Hattiesburg and John Caleb Smith of Seminary; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lynn Wedgeworth (Greg) and Suzanne Demerest (Andy), all of Rawl Springs; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Vivian Riles; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
