Funeral Services for Mr. Dale Norris will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Norris, age 74, passed away from this life on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at his residence near Collins. His son, Roger Dale Norris, Jr. and grandson, Jacob Norris will officiate. Masonic Rites will be held at the graveside in the Ora Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Stearman, Trevor Stearman, Tyler Stearman, Zach Stearman, Reagan Norris, and Jacob Norris.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Roger Dale Norris, Sr. was born on March 1, 1949, in Collins, to Elmer A. Norris and Mattie B. Gentry Norris. Mr. Norris had an extensive career with Chicago Bridge and Iron, CBI. He retired from the company after 44 years of service as the Executive Logistics Manager. Even after retirement, Mr. Norris continued consulting on CBI projects until his death. Dale Norris enjoyed his family, his work, fishing in South America, and being a Master Mason. Mr. Norris was an active member of the Olive Branch #34 Masonic Lodge, where he served as Lodge Master on many occasions. He was a member of Ora Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his wife, Anne Marie Reeves Norris; and 7 brothers and sisters, Kathleen Norris Walker, Gloria Mae Norris Jordan, Billy Joe Norris, Oscar James Norris, Frances Norris McDonald, Albert Hugh Norris, and Johnson Norris.

Survivors include his 3 sons, Trevor Stearman (Danielle) of Augusta, GA, Roger Dale "Bo" Norris, Jr. (Mary) of Mt. Pleasant, TX, and Jason Stearman (Gigi) of Biloxi; 10 grandchildren, Zachary Stearman, Heather Stearman, Jacob Norris, Reagan Norris, Brooke Norris, Tyler Michael Stearman, Payton Anne Stearman, Vegas Marie Stearman, and Jason Dale Stearman; 7 great-grandchildren, Scarlett Rose Norris, Rose Addelyn Stearman, Arabelle Bourland, Aiden Morein, Whit Morein, Toby Morein, and Cynthia Hunter; and 3 brothers, Frank Arnold Norris, Jasper Norris, and Roland Glenn Norris; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
