Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruby Nell Saulters Corley will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Lone Star Baptist Church. "Well done, my good and faithful servant" are the words Ruby Nell Graves Saulters Corley heard as she walked into the arms of Jesus the morning of Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the age of 84 years. Brother Danny Forrest will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Eric Cooper, Neil Graves, Trent Hanegan, Terry Lambert, Jr., Tony Martin, and Holt Saulters will serve as Pallbearers. Jared Beard, Tony Clapp, Derek Glascock, and Stevie Stogner will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Nell Graves was born to William Alton "Cowboy" and Beulah Boleware Graves on June 2, 1939, in Prentiss. She was the oldest of four children with whom, along with her parents, she is now reunited in Heaven - Roy Graves, Juanita Graves Mobley, and Ronnie Graves. She was a graduate of Lone Star School. Many people remember her precious personality and care for everyone she met from the fabric department at T-W-L in downtown Collins.

She was married to Charles Saulters in 1964 whom she loved dearly and cared for through many years of sickness until his passing in 1991. In 1992, she married John E. Corley and together, they made great memories with their grandchildren until his passing in 2009.

If you talked to Mrs. Corley for even the shortest amount of time, she would have to brag about her children - Debbie and Greg. With a ten year age difference between the two, they both had a special bond with their Mother like none other. She was notorious for talking to Debbie on the phone late at night and Greg could count on her to be the one calling as soon as he got in his truck to leave work every day.

In her early years, she was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church in Collins, and was amazed at the Lord's blessing on this church as it sought out ways to reach the lost in South Mississippi. She was a founding member of Lone Star Baptist Church in Collins, and was an incredible supporter of her church in prayer, finances, and deed. Rumor has it that she has blessed every person in her church with one of her famous blankets with a foot pocket. Throughout the recent years, Mrs. Corley was unable to attend church but she never missed a beat because of the faithful service and outreach of Pastor Danny Forrest and the Lone Star Church Members.

To carry on her legacy of love and service to others are her children, Debbie Brogan (Sidney Jr.) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Greg Saulters (Marilyn) of Collins; step-children, Cindy Corley Dilmore (David) and Johnny Corley (Sherry), all of Hot Coffee; her grandchildren, Rebecca Brogan Lambert (Terry Jr.), Laura Brogan Glascock (Derek), Brittney Saulters Cooper (Eric), Holt Saulters (Alexis), and Charleigh Kate Saulters; step-grandchildren, Cortnee Crumpton and Matt Dilmore; her great-grandchildren, Shelbi Lambert, Lane Lambert, Emma Lambert, Logan Lambert, Jaxon Glascock, Scott Brogan, Hunter Lambert, Ethan Griggs, Andy Glascock and Tripp Cooper; step-great-grandchildren Zhane Crumpton and Rosabelle Crumpton; her dear friend, Buster Walden; as well as many friends and extended family members.

Visitation will be held at Lone Star Baptist Church on Thursday, August 24, 2023, from 8:30-10:00am.

Mrs. Corley spent many days "loving on those babies" who lived in the Dennistown community.
