Funeral services for Mrs. Sadie Craft will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Sanford. Mrs. Craft, age 79, passed away from this life on Friday, March 29, 2024, in Hattiesburg. Reverend Brian Dickens will officiate, and interment will follow in the Bullock Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joshua McKenzie, John Paul Morgan, Cha Brown, Marshall Brown, Rusty Craft, and Tim Davis. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Mitchell Craft, Steve Dallas, Chuck Brown, Billy Farlie, and Richard McKenzie.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sadie Mae McKay Craft was born on October 20, 1944, in Greenwood, to Joe Russell McKay, Sr. and Frances Mildred Wigley McKay. Mrs. Craft was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Sanford.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Joe Russell and Frances McKay; her husband, Paul B. Craft; and her son, Michael Craft.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Francis McKenzie (Richard) of Sanford, Melissa Morgan (Billy) of Perkinston, and Brenda Brown (Chuck) of Sanford; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Peggy Rawls of Seminary; and 1 brother, Joe McKay, Jr. of Seminary; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2024, from 5:30pm until 8:00pm at First Baptist Church of Sanford.
