Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Jones will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 12, 2024, in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Jones, age 86, passed away from this life on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in Collins. Brother Kent McKenzie will officiate and Leigh Anne Martin and Haley Martin will perform the musical tribute. Interment will be in the Sunset Jesus Name Holiness Church Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be LaHoma Leigh Jones, Kevin Jones, Robert "Bob" Leggett, Reggie Jones, Todd Jones, and Kent McKenzie. Desten Buckley will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.

Shirley Jean Eubanks Jones was born on January 31, 1938, in Prentiss, to Travis and Estelle Rutland Eubanks. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of Sunset Jesus Name Holiness Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, George Welton Jones; her daughter, Patricia Diane Walley; 2 sisters, Dorothy Jones and Patricia Sasser; and 5 brothers, Jerry Eubanks, Clarence Eubanks, Ted Eubanks, William Henry "Bill" Eubanks, John C. Eubanks, and Randy Joe Eubanks.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Deborah Jones of Collins, Wanda (Kent) McKenzie of Seminary, and LaHoma Leigh Jones of Seminary; 3 grandchildren, Robert "Bob" Leggett, LaTonya Buckley, and Leigh Anne Martin; 2 sisters, Voncelle (Roy) Boleware of Seminary, and Betty Lou (Kerry) Broadus of Collins; well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, February 12, 2024, from 11:30 am until 2:00pm at Wade Funeral Home.
