Funeral services for Stanley Stephen "Bootsie" Rogers will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Willow Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Rogers, age 74, passed away from this life on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Jackson. Reverend Rocky Holston and Reverend Hal Hatton will officiate. Interment will be in the Willow Grove Cemetery.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Jim Warrick, Layne Upton, Mark Rogers, Noel Rogers, Neil Higginbotham, and Terry Miller.

Stanley Stephen "Bootsie" Rogers was born on August 24, 1945 to Wilton Gambrell Rogers and Alma Mitchell Rogers at the Rogers Home in Covington County. Mr. Rogers was a graduate of Collins High School and North East Louisiana State University. He was a retired Pharmacist and a member of Willow Grove Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father.

Survivors are his wife of 22 years, Barbara Rogers of Seminary; 2 daughters, Stephanie Rogers Gonzales of Collierville, TN, and Allison Rogers Boyington (John) of Alexandria, VA; 1 son, Stephen Rogers of Gulf Shores, AL; 2 step-daughters, Angela Jones (John W.) of Mt. Olive, and Deanna Miller (Terry) of Collins; 1 step-son, Neil Higginbotham (C.J.) of Sumrall; 11 grandchildren, Brittany Odom, Joshua Odom, Susan Gonzales, Samantha Gonzales, Victoria Lynn Rogers, Julia Isabelle Rogers, Johnna Jones, Kylee Miller, Makenzie Hathorn, Lucy Higginbotham, and Braxton Hathorn; 1 great-grandchild, Skylar Fandel; and 8 brothers and sisters, John Mitchell Rogers (Ann) of Collins, Ramona Rogers Warrick of Pascagoula, Franklin Bura Rogers, James MacArthur Rogers, Doris Rogers Upton (Lovelle), Wilton Gambrell Rogers, Jr. (Annie Kay), Ellen Rogers Wills, and Susan Rogers Bullock (David), all of Collins; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation on Tuesday from 8:30 am until service time at Willow Grove Baptist Church.
