Graveside Funeral Rites for Mr. Terry Carmichael, Sr., will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 12, 2026, in the Gallman Cemetery in Copiah County. Mr. Carmichael, age 82, passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at The Landmark of Collins. Reverend Steve Wade will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Hunter Carmichael, Hunter McPhail, Sailor Weems, and Terry Stewart.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Terry Felix Carmichael, Sr., was born on October 31, 1943, in Magee to Elanor Carr Carmichael and A.B. Carmichael, Jr. Mr. Carmichael was a retired automotive mechanic and a member of Magee United Methodist Church.

He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Elanor and A.B. Carmichael, Jr.; his wife, Jimmie Pitts Carmichael; and 2 brothers, Jimmy Carmichael and Mike Carmichael.

Survivors include 2 sons, Terry Felix Carmichael, Jr. (Gia) of Magee and Tim Carmichael (Laurie) of Pearl; 1 daughter, Tracye Stewart (Terry) of Seminary; 2 step-sons, George Bennett (Terrie) of Brandon and Kenny Bennett (Ritchie) of Madison; 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
