Funeral Services for Mr. John Thomas "Tommy" Windham will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Salem Baptist Church. Mr. Windham, age 85, passed away from this life on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, in Collins. Reverend Dennis Campbell will officiate.

Pallbearers will be the Deacons and Former Deacons of Salem Baptist Church.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

John Thomas Windham was born on June 13, 1936, in Collins to Charlie and Willie Mae Speed Windham. Tommy Windham was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Windham was retired from the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center and was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his first wife, Ruth Fields Windham; his second wife, Daisey Windham; 1 son, Tommy Joe Windham; 2 brothers, Kent Windham and Billy Charles Windham; and 1 sister, Margaret Windham Rogers.

Survivors include his son, Charles Windham of Greensboro, NC; 6 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Joyce Sullivan of Taylorsville, Peggy Nell Diehl (Bill) of Webster, TX, and Ellen Methvin of Ridgeland; and 1 brother, Jerry Windham of Jackson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be Friday from 10:00am until 11:00am at Salem Baptist Church.
