Funeral Services for Mr. Wilford Willis "Bill" Lewis, Jr. will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, June 28, 2019 in the Wade Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Lewis, age 70, passed away from this life on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Mobile. Mr. Lewis will be laid to rest in the Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

Wilford Willis Lewis, Jr. was born in Midland, TX on July 11, 1948 to Wilford Willis Lewis, Sr. and Marie Culp Lewis. Bill Lewis was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, having served with distinction in the Vietnam War in the famous 101 ^st Airborne. Mr. Lewis' final wish was to be buried in the hallowed ground at Arlington National Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 1 son, Wilford Willis "Bill" Lewis, III; 2 brothers, Charlie Satterfield Jackie Satterfield; and 1 sister, Beth Satterfield.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Teresa Lewis Lee (James Merritt) of Seminary; 1 step-daughter, Rebecca Reid (Billy) of Lumberton; 5 grandchildren, James Lee, Tyler Lee, Dalton Lee, Nicole Reid, and Brooke Culpepper; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Mike Satterfield (Jonie) of San Angelo, TX; as well a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Wade Funeral Home.
