A private family memorial service will be held for Mr. Jeffrey Ward of Seminary. Mr. Ward, age 52, passed away from this life on Saturday, November 11, 2023, in Laurel. Inurnment will be in Sparta, North Carolina.

William Jeffrey Ward was born on January 7, 1971, in Sparta, NC, to William "Bill" Ward and Deloris Reed Ward. He was a member of the Scottsville Baptist Church.

Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his father, Bill Ward; his stepfather, John Hardin; 3 uncles; and 1 aunt.

Survivors include his mother, Deloris Hardin of Seminary; 2 aunts, Linda Ward of Sparta, NC, and Janie Reed of Jarvis, NC; 2 uncles, Rodney Reed (Ann) of Laurel Springs, NC, and William Lowellhamm of Statesville, NC; as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
