Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Harold Sanford will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Sanford, age 78, passed away from this life on Friday, February 25, 2022, in Hattiesburg. Elder Larry Brown will officiate.

Wade Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Willie Harold Sanford was born on November 1, 1943, in Seminary to Robert Sanford and Ora Ingram Sanford. Mr. Sanford was a graduate of Jones Junior College and attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a veteran of the Mississippi Army National Guard and was a retired owner/operator in the trucking business. He was a member of the Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; 1 brother, Sterling Louis Sanford; and 2 sisters, Vondell Guthrie and Theresa Tyson.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Lynda McDonald Sanford of Collins; 2 daughters, Kimberly Lynn Sanford of Flowood and Sherry Lee Touchstone (Dave) of Columbia; 3 grandchildren, Zachary Magee of Long Beach, CA, Christy Kirkley (Paul) of Seminary, and Taylor Johnson (Dailey) of Madison, WI; 3 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; and 2 brothers, Curtis Sanford and Elton Sanford (Judy), all of Seminary; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be Saturday from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the graveside.
